Baton Rouge Telco Federal Credit Union took a new approach to marketing in 2018. With no consumer advertising to date, the 80 year old company needed to grow new memberships and focus on increasing deposits. In order to meet their business goals, we had to rethink the brand, website and marketing tactics. Our goals and objectives were to:
- Increase brand awareness among a highly targeted demographic
- Establish Telco a clear position for the brand to differentiate
- Increase new (direct) memberships and total amount of deposits
Through strategic creative direction and multi-media planning utilizing radio, out of home, and digital, we helped prospective members in the community discover more was to say “yes” to Baton Rouge Telco.
- 26% increase in new website users
- 20% increase in new website users via organic search
- 23% increase in overall website conversions
- 39% increase in online loan applications
- 41% increase in online account opening applications
Overall, the brand awareness campaign accounted for a 32.95% increase in new product openings and a 28% growth in direct memberships year over year for Telco.
